Full Day

Well, it's here again. Today is our Mormon Girl's Birthday. She's also leaving today for a much needed and much deserved vacation in DC. So, Happy 2_th Birthday and have fun on your trip. DC is a lot of fun, I hear they have stuff there. The Smithsonian is nice. Oh, and I guess the wedding will be fun. Make sure you miss us (and when I say us, I mostly mean me).

Good to be back

So, yes, Friday night was a blast. Good times were had, beer was drank and sin was enjoyed. I go felt up. I'm not sure by who, but I'm sure I owed them. I even danced. Not well, but that's ok. There was a bachlorette party there. It's always funny when you come across one of those. When you stand back you see the guys all circle the group like jackels, just waiting for one of the party to get seperated from the rest of the herd. Amanda and I picked out the best one of the group and she was dancing with someone by the end of the night. Damn it that could have been me, I need to be quicker. Maybe next time. If you weren't there, you missed it. Unless you were at a birthday party and got a date from the waiter. It's good to be able to have fun again. Almost complete.

Am I putting on weight? You can be honest.

Cleaning out some thoughts

Just to get out some random thoughts I've got going on;

College Basketball Championships are for sissy schools who never learned how to play football properly.

I got the key to my office and my business cards today. I'm like a grown up now. They gave me 500 cards, I have no idea when I will ever give them out. Well, except to you guys.

I think we are all supposed to go out to Paradise this Friday night. Groove Merchants are playing and it's part of Little Red Haired Girl's farewell tour. SO, if you're in town and can make it, bring it on. LRHG says she's buying.

I am in too good a mood to be single.

If I haven't mentioned it before, this new Pearl Jam is amazing. I also picked up the Panic! at the Disco record. I might be too old, but I really like it. Very fun.

Lynn, funny story about DJ Shadow; When I worked at Peaches, he put out that Preemptive Strike album. I had a kid come in and ask for the new Dj Shadow. I showed it to him and said it's this one, Preemptive Strike. I had to define the word "Preemptive" for him. Smoke some more weed Turtle, seriously, smoke some more weed.

Mormon Girl passed up Spaghetti for CSI and sleep. Seesh.

And so today...

Let's all wish our beloved KG a Happy __th birthday. Hopefully, you had a great day. Don't worry about all the little things like another year. You're doing ok and besides, you've got time before your crystal starts blinking. Happy Birthday.

(Oh and if this is late blame Little Red Head Girl or Mormon Girl. One of them told me it was today.)

And on the First day.....

If you didn't know I got a job. It went well. It's with Government Services Group. They do stuff. I don't really know what and it doesn't really matter.

I wanted to thank everyone for their love and support. I know I gave up hope about 67 times and was just about impossiable to deal with, but I have to do that for things to go right. Maybe not, but I do it anyway.

Thank you to everyone who wrote and re-wrote my resume, cover letters and those new things they have out now; Thank you letters. Thank you all for putting up with my piss poor attitude (though that probably had more to do with the Other Situation than anything). But, now I have a positive thing to go with and it feels good.

To celebrate I did what all of you would have done and bought three new records. Which is oddly what I do when I'm feeling sad and that sad feeling isn't from not having an income.

Pearl Jam Pearl Jam

Tool: 10,000 Days

All-American Rejects: Move Along

All of which are very good. I also got a very special gift, but I promised not to speak of it. (no, KG, nothing like that you pervert. It was just very nice and unexpected.)

So, many of you are probably wanting to know about my first day (Oh and if you didn't know I got a job). It went well. It's with Government Services Group. They do stuff. I don't really know what and it doesn't really matter. It's a mile and a half from the house. I have an office, but I do share it with someone. Her name is Sarah, she's young, probably a student since she's only part time and she has big boobs. Didn't get to talk to her, so that's all I know. It's doing accounting work. It's just me and my boss and it's a different situation as my position is new, so I am pretty much setting up what it does. Seems like, so far, I'll have a lot of input and it's not just the same thing over and over. I think I'm going to like it. So that was day one. I even tucked my shirt in. I felt dirty. It's only missing two thins, really: covered parking and Mormon Girls. Other than that, it's seems pleasant. Now, since I got up at 7AM for the first time in months, I must go sleep.

The Mystery

To answer Mormon Girl's question: Yes, I do own one.

As much as I hate to say it, your collar is much more manageable when it's ironed.
