Our pick this week is a name that keeps popping up so we'll check her out. She's origanlly from the US, but is now mostly living in Canada, in fact is in a Canadian band (New Pornographers). As you all know if your Canadian and not blonde, you're gettin' a look. That's just how it works.

She's got a alt-country feel, along the lines of Patty Griffin, but Patty may have a stronger voice. I'm sure LRHG and Amanda will love her hair. Red-heads always stick together.
