NMT 55

Don't say the words, "Lyme Disease" to a Hypo.

Our pick this week comes by way of KG. She's stuck on this song and loves it more than chocolate, ice cream or chocolate ice cream. I told her to buy it when it was $5 on Amazon, but no one listen to Richard. It's only 7.99 now, so there's still time.

The band describes their sound as "baroque harmonic pop jams". Ah, artist types and their wacky ways. That basically means it's mostly a chill-out record. (Ironically, something KG doesn't have time for what with her busy schedule: Work, gym (every third even numbered Thursday), tennis, date with guy who will insist on going dutch after he picks the most expensive restaurant and then whips out a gift card for his half. Etc, etc...)

The song is fun and if you like clay, this video is for you.

So, from Seattle, WA (well, lookie there):

Fleet Foxes - "White Winter Hymnal":

Bonus tracks:

She gave me a card that played this song when I was sick and since she's been sick since Friday:

Mormon Girl and I have decided there's no shame in owning his Greatest Hits.

I Miss the 90's:

Oh, how many of you remember this song?

The Pursuit of Happiness - "Cigarette Dangles":

Hey, it COULD happen! ;)
- I'm sorry , maybe it is my "top 40" self but I just don't get the clay video song.
-So sweet, Muah!-If only a band-aid would work though, eh?
-I actually never have heard the ciggy song before, but I'm sure that is not a shock to you. hehe

Well I think you have some cool friends with some great taste in music. Ah...mellow.

I LOVE Huey Lewis and could watch this clip over and over and over again.

Have never heard this cig song so I could pass on it.

PS - Seriously, you have an incredible memory. I can't remember half the crap that happens to me but I know you'll never let me live it down. 8-)

PPS - Went on a date before I left to Dallas for a week and this guy came from the E. He was shorter than me and damn if I didn't catch him checking out my girls on SEVERAL occasions. Anyway, the whole time he told crazy funny stories of his boarding school days (junior & senior yr. of high school). I think he liked me but haven't heard from him since. I did wear heels that night and was considerably taller so maybe it chased him away as he did repeatedly say how tall I was.
Put that down in "another winner for KG" column.
