NMT 8

Most of you probably didn't know already, but one of our viewers has been having a tough year health wise and had to have some emergency surgery couple of weeks ago. Allison is doing fine and is recovering nicely. She'll be out of it for a few more weeks, but is expected to make a full recovery and be back at it soon.

So, in an effort to make her happy and tell her we love her, this week's New Music Tuesday will be for her. I've chosen some things I think (and hope) will make her smile and ease the pain of having nothing to watch but Price is Right and Andy Griffith re-runs (so if the rest of you don't like them, shut the hell up. This ain't about you).

We all love you and hope you feel better soon (don't we? Say it Bitches!).

To help you on your way:

Rush - "Circumstances"

Rush - "Limelight" (always my personal favorite)

and then randomly: (video is a touch off, but you can all deal)

Well I seem to always be out of the loop so no, I didn't know Alison wasn't feeling well.

Alison - I hope things are OK and you have a restful but speedy recovery. Take care of yourself!

Good tunes!

Thanks for the Rush and the Pearl Jam -- what better way to get better -- Geddy and Eddie! Although, you're taking a chance with the Pearl Jam, I'm supposed to have "complete vaginal rest" -- doctor's orders. :) Thanks for all of the well wishes. After over a week in the hospital, I am very glad to be sitting at home watching my kitties sleep. I am very anemic, and my last period about did me in. Well, I got it before it could get me. I had to have a transfusion first, but I had a hysterectomy soon after to end all of this ridiculous bleeding for no reason. It's the end of an era.

I'm glad you had a great time in Boston, Richard. Hip, hip, hip, hip!!! I'd be more jealous if I hadn't seen them first this year. :)

Thanks, again. -- Allison
