For all must be complicated

Leave it to Victoria's Secret to make the gift card come in an elaborate box. I bought a gift card (she has a dog and an inability to keep clothes off the floor, a combination that has left her with one bra.) on Saturday and after I paid for it they put in this box they had to fold and lock in an intricate manner that took two sales girls to actually accomplish (the girl who rang me up tried it first, but she's a fake blonde and they all have trouble with that kind of stuff). Then, naturally, the whole thing had to be topped off with a tiny, silk rose. Holy crap, just a $50 gift card. All of this had to then be put in a VS bag and stuffed with pink paper. (Mind you, I had no problem walking through the mall with that bag). I was really just planning on putting it in a Christmas Card and hiding it in the tree, but I felt bad after all the trouble they went through.

Why do they stuff all that paper in the bags? Are the panties fragile? Does it keep them fresh?

And yes, i already gave it too her, so it's OK to mention it here. I gave it too her Saturday night because A) again, one bra and B) I saw that bra's were buy one get one half off and I didn't know how long that would last.

And damn that stuff is expensive. Guess we can't all be lucky, like KG and shop at Ann Taylor all the time.
