NMT 95

Our pick this week is new to me as well. I read about them in a magazine and it sounded interesting and I liked the name for some reason. It's got an almost experimental vibe, but stays cohesive enough to be listenable. And it's kind of catchy. Let's learn about it together. Learning is fun.

So, from Brooklyn, NY:

Dirty Projectors - "Stillness is the Move":

Bonus Tracks:

Yes, he's always danced like that. Don't ask, cause sometimes, it's just about trains. Or a statue.

This band has 1 or 3 good moments. This is one of them.

OKAY! Being that we are musical soulmates and all (fingers crossed) I have decided to give my opinions:
1. not bad, but not something I'd listen to over and over
2. I don't really know how to tell what some songs are about, but I'm working on it. Good though.
3. Cheesy and hokey as they may be- TRUE! Take a listen :)

I know now you are impressed with my wealth of musical knowledge! ;)
