She's been introduced to the cookies and has declared that when you decide to have just one more a broken or otherwise non-whole cookie does not count.
Our pick this week is a local band. I don't remember where I heard their name, but I think it was when Top 40's sister "graduated" and we all went out to dinner at Gill's and they said they were playing the next night. May have been a different band. It's nice to find a good local band. I"m sure we have other good bands here, but I don't go outside, so it's hard for me to be sure. I would like to check these guys out, but again, say and do...
The sound on this is a little wonky. It's probably from the compression on the file since it's locally done, but doesn't change the song. So give a listen.
From Tallahassee, FL:
The humBELL - "My friend, the loser":
Bonus Tracks:
I hear this is a good song.
I Miss the 90's:
Sometimes, just sometimes, the most tortured of souls create the most beautiful of things. This song is an example. Just a wonderful lyric from a man slowly killing himself and unable to stop.
Blind Melon - "Change":
And while we're here, let's learn a little bit with this band. As Top 40 always tells me, learning is always F-U-N!

YAY! Good choices all around.
1. Very cool - hard to believe they're from Tallahassee!!
2. YES, that IS a good song.
3. Aww. I love that song.
4. Three is a magic number! Jack Johnson redid that song for the Curious George Soundtrack - only the 3 is for reduce, reuse, recycle. It's super cute.
Well I can't get the Tally band to play on my phone but I was able to get the others. Good choices. Not only is that a great Michael Buble song but, (close your eyes MG) Michael can leaves his shoes next to my bed any time. I've seen him live, twice in one week and he can sing, get down while he's singing and oh...he's just HOT! His body guard Steve ain't so bad either!
no idea what songs these are as i'm not trapped behind a firewall, but good commentary.
