NMT 25

So, a Save the Date is not the same as an invitation? Girls make things so confusing.

I have been thinking about this album since they started talking about it's 25th anniversary (that's right- 25 years). It was one of the first albums I ever bought, Purple Rain being the first, this was probably #3 (oddly, a Weird Al album is #2). I had it on cassette and album. I had to get the album, of course, because it had the lyric sheet in it.

Anyways, I have it on my computer and iPod now and I've been listening to it the last couple of days and it's funny how it comes back to you. Songs and parts you had forgotten all about come back to you 2 beats before it plays. It's almost like you're 8 years old again and makes you want to go back and tell Tracy Hart to kiss your ass cause she had a chance to be the girl that got you before you peaked...in the sixth grade.

So, let's all relive what has stood the test of time as an amazing album, and don't any of you EVEN act like you weren't down with it! It sold like 17 billion copies, so I ain't the only one who bought one. So, get up and dance like no one is looking and your mom never threw away your jelly shoes

From friggin Outer Space:

Michael Jackson - "Billie Jean"

Bonus Tracks:

These guys have been getting some attention and I'm not sure I'm all that into it, but maybe you guy will like it.

Flyleaf - "All over me":

Random pick of the Week (for all the married people. This includes you LRHG):

What does that fist comment mean? Are you saying you are now uninvited to the March wedding?

Yeah, it doesn't include me until I have a big, fat rock on my finger!

So, you're girl has already invited you to be her date to a wedding? PS - save the date cards are NOT invites, just telling you that best not schedule anything during that particular weekend b/c your gift, err presence, is expected at that wedding.

Holy @!#%!!! You mean, I listened to MJ when I was just 4 years old? No way b/c I very vividly remember jamming to that album all the time until at least the age of 10. Dang, time flies. Seriously though, he did have some great tunes...then he got creepy!

Flyleaf: They have been getting lots of radio time up here and at first I kinda liked it but not so much anymore. Something about it is like nails on a chalkboard.

Random: OK that's some funny stuff.

PS Hannah - CARE BEARS STARE!!! LOL

No, we got an invitation as well, but I thought we already had that with the save the date, but I got boy confused by using logic to apply to something involving more than one woman at a time.

Yeah, the Flyleaf wasn't doing it for me. Should have known when the article mentioned Creed.
